8 Day Tour of Vancouver, the Canadian Rockies
and Victoria

Day 1 Home Town to Vancouver

Today, you will depart from your hometown on a flight to Vancouver.  

Day 2 Vancouver to Kamloops

In the morning, you will travel through the Coquihalla Highway to Kamloops.  After lunch at Kamloops, you will continue on your way on the No. 1 Highway, routing through the Eagle Pass and visiting the Last Spike of the Trans Canada Railway.  Dinner will be served and you will spend the night at Golden.  

Day 3 Golden to Columbia Icefield to Banff to Calgary

After breakfast, you will have an opportunity to visit the Columbia Icefield.  You can experience a snow-coach thrill ride on the Athabasca Glacier.  After that, you will travel to Banff, a world famous resort town, where you can enjoy a tour of downtown.  You will arrive at Calgary, where you can visit the Calgary Tower.  This is the 2^nd highest tower building in Canada where you can catch a great view of the magnificent city.  You will then be transferred to the hotel after dinner.  

Day 4 Calgary to Banff

After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Parliament building followed by a tour of one of the world’s largest shopping centers.  In the afternoon, you will head to Calgary, where you will visit Chinatown and the Calgary Tower.  The Calgary Tower is the second largest building in Canada.  Here, you can get a magnificent view of the city.  After dinner, you will travel back to the Banff National Park.  

Day 5 Banff to Lake Louise to Vernon/Kelowna

Today, you will visit the Sulphur Mountain, where you can take a Gondola ride up to the peak.  It stands at a height of 7,500 feet.  The next stop for today will be at Bow Falls.  The scenery here is impressive.  Marilyn Monroe once filmed a movie here.  After lunch, you will travel through the Yoho National Park and the Natural Bridge.  You will then travel to Vernon/Kelowna.  

Day 6 Vernon/Kelowna to Vancouver

After breakfast, you will travel to Kelowna, where a stop will be made at the orchard.  A stop will only be made at the orchard if it is in season.  Today’s attractions include the famous winery where you will have an opportunity to taste the red and white wines.  After that, you will take a boat cruise at the Okanagan Lake.  Legend says that the lake monster, Ogopogo, appeared here.  After lunch, you will visit Chilliwack.  Chilliwack is a honey factory where you can taste more than ten different kinds of honey.  At the end of the day, you will retrace your route and arrive in Vancouver.  

Day 7 Vancouver

Today, you will explore the city of Vancouver.  Attractions you will be visiting but not limited to, includes Chinatown, Gastown and Stanley Park, with free tasting of smoked salmon and gingseng.  Then, you will Board the B.C Ferry to cross the strait of Georgia to Victoria.  You will have an opportunity to visit the marvelous Butchart Gardens, Beacon Hill Park, Mile Zero of the original Wagon Road, the Parliament Building and the Royal Wax Museum.  You will then return to Vancouver by the B.C. Ferry.  

Day 8 Vancouver to Hometown

You will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to the US.
