Day Tour of the Tibetan Highland

Today, you will depart on an overnight flight from the US to Beijing, China.
Upon arrival in Beijing, a tour guide will help you transfer to the hotel for some rest.
After breakfast, there will be a tour of the city. A site you will visit is the beautiful Yuanming Garden. In the evening, enjoy the famous Peking Duck Banquet. You will be entertained be an exciting acrobatics show.
In the morning, you will leave on a tour of the amazing Beihai, the Confucius Temple and the famous Yungho Palace. You will fly to Chengdu in the afternoon and in the evening, a local hot pot cuisine will be served for dinner.
Today, you will fly to the capital of the Tibetan Autonomous Region called Lhasa.
There will be a tour of the Potala Palce, the Jokhang Monastery and the Norbu Lingka Park. You can take a walk along the Barkhor Street if you wish.
Attractions for today’s tour include the Deprung Lamasery and the Sera Temple. If time permits, you will call on a Tibetan family to try a cup of jak butter tea with.
After breakfast, there will be an excursion to Yamdrok Yumtso Lake, the most beautiful lake in Tibet. You will be entertained by a local folk dance show in the evening.
Today, you will fly to Chengdu in the morning. Today’s tour will begin with an excursion to Du Jiang Dam. A delicious local cuisine will be provided for dinner in the evening.
Day 10 Chengdu to Guangzhou
In the morning, you will board a flight to Guangzhou. You will have an opportunity to visit the Chen Family Temple, the 72 Martyr’s Mausoleum at Huanghuagang and the Liurong Temple. After a delicious lunch of Guangdong cuisine, you will take an express train to Hong Kong.
You will receive a half-day tour of the city of Hong Kong today. The rest of the day will be leisure time for you to explore the rest of the city on your own.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for an overnight flight from Hong Kong back to the US.
