4 Day Tour of New Mexico and Arizona

Highlights: Carlsbad Cavern National Park, Desert Museum, Saguaro National Park, and Air Museum.  Air fare, admissions and transfer included.

1. Los Angeles – Phoenix - Tucson
TUCSON HILTON or Similar

You will depart for Phoenix, the capital of Arizona, by air.  In Phoenix, you will have an opportunity to visit downtown.  After lunch, you will travel to the Sonona Desert Museum.  There, you will be surprised to see more than a thousand different kinds of animals and plants.  In the evening, you will stay overnight in Tucson.

2. Tucson – Air Museum – Las Cruces

After breakfast, you will get a tour of the Pima Air Museum.  This museum houses a collection of more than two hundred planes, revealing the history of the air force, from WWI to WWII.  While you’re there, don’t forget to take a look at the fastest jet in the world, the SR71 Black Bird.  Tucson is located between the east and west Saguaro National Monument.  Here, you will enjoy taking pictures of the three-story tall Saguaro along with other beautiful scenery.  By evening, you will arrive at Las Cruces.

3. Las Cruces – Carlsbad Cavern National Park – Guadalupe National Park – El Paso

During the morning tour, you will pass by the Rocky Mountains and the Lincoln National Forest.  You will arrive at Carlsbad Cavern for lunch in the park.  After lunch, you may either take a stroll down a trail into the cavern or you may take the elevator if you prefer.  The interior of the cavern is approximately 73 square miles, making it one of the largest and deepest caverns in the world.  The many different kinds of stalactites, stalagmites, and columns found here are both beautiful and amazing.  By evening, we will have past Guadalupe National Park.  Then we travel back to Las Cruces for the night. 

4. Las Cruces – White Sand National Park – Phoenix
- Los Angeles

After breakfast, you will travel to White Sand National Monument.  This is an amazing area of countless miles of pure white sand dunes.  Roaming among the dunes and taking photographs will provide you with lifetime memories of this wonder of the world.  In the evening, you will return to the Phoenix airport where you will depart for Los Angeles.
